About One with Courage:
“One With Courage is a national initiative centered around the courage it takes to talk about child sexual abuse and the unique role Children’s Advocacy Centers (CACs) play in providing comprehensive, coordinated and compassionate services to child victims of abuse. The Children’s House is the CAC available to abused child victims and their families in Bradford County, Pennsylvania and surrounding areas. Since 2010, The Children’s House has provided services to over 400 children in our communities. Each child is one that had the courage to speak out because one caring adult had the courage to listen. Are you one with courage? Visit www.OneWithCourage.org to understand more and to join the movement.”

Community leadership is critical to preventing child abuse and neglect. You can take an active role by promoting your members to take an active role in combatting and preventing child abuse year-round.

April 27th, 2014 is National Blue Sunday, which is the day churches across the nation take time in their service to pray for the victims of child abuse and those that rescue them. Churches have set examples and show communities how to become fully dedicated to the needs of abused children through volunteer programs, services and fundraisers.
Blue Sunday Day of Prayer is about praying for our abused and neglected children but it also starting a dialogue with your church members and the community about child abuse and how it directly and indirectly affects everyone in our community.

Hoping everyone will join the nation in praying for abused children on National Blue Sunday Day of Prayer for abused children on April 27th. Visit http://www.bluesunday.org./register
